Rolling Stone Magazine recently released their "50 BEST ALBUMS OF 2013" list, and #1 was "Modern Vampires of the City" by Vampire Weekend. As you recall, quite a sh*t storm was created on the front page when they burned a Saab in the video for the video for their hit "Diane Young". !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! It seems like they got the last laugh since their album is being celebrated, and they dont give a flipping fandango if Jalopnik hates them for incinerating some ol' Saab....

Rolling Stone also gave Myley Cyrus's latest album a positive review. So there's that.

The point of this post is that no one really cares about the stupid Saab

i hate, and i mean reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy HATE to say this, but her album wasnt exactly what i would call "bad". Most people are judging it based on her twerking, and appearance, and ridiculous videos that are practiacally parodies of themselves, but if you take that all away, the album actually isnt bad. As far as that wrecking ball song with the ridiculous video, it has stronger/deeper lyrics than half of the pop music they play on the raido. Plus there were 3 or 4 other decent/good/okay/bearable tracks. I do however disagree with them putting it on their top 50 list

Well of course the music is good. Her production team used the tried and true formula that works for modern pop music.

Just listen to "Wrecking Ball" layered over Bruno Mars' "Locked Out Of Heaven".

This isn't to say that pop is dead. It's just that... well, I don't know. Catchy song(s) though!

Pretty sure no one here really cares about the stupid band. I cared deeply about the Saab.

Vampire Weekend sucks and Rolling Stone hasn't been relevant in decades, so why are we getting upset?
